Grace and peace be upon you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. I am Pastor Paul Craig, and by my side is my beloved wife, LeJeune. Before you explore the various ministries we offer, kindly take a moment to sit and allow me to share the vision that God has placed in my heart for this ministry.
Years ago, the Lord revealed to me that the central mission of this ministry is to foster a deep connection between humanity and God through His Word. In today's American culture, spiritual education has regrettably waned. While we have many brilliant minds in the natural realm, there is a significant lack of knowledge when it comes to God's Word. Our primary goal is to educate people about God's Word, fostering an understanding that brings individuals closer to God. In essence, we are a teaching ministry, dedicated to helping people grasp God's will for their lives and understand His heart. To achieve this, we provide comprehensive Bible instruction at our church from Sunday to Friday, and our radio station, KJRF 91.1 FM, broadcasts 24/7.
In John 17:16-17, Jesus prayed for His disciples, saying, 'They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them, purify them, consecrate them, and separate them for Yourself; make them holy through Your truth: Your Word is truth.' Additionally, in John 17:20-21, Jesus prayed for us, His church, saying, 'Neither do I pray for these alone, but for them also which shall believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.'
These verses guide us toward another significant focus of our ministry, which is unity. The Christian Center is a unique congregation in that it embraces individuals from all walks of life. While God has appointed me as the founder and pastor, I understand that I do not possess all the wisdom, knowledge, or understanding required for the five-fold ministry. Consequently, God has brought together hundreds of like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds who willingly follow the vision God has given for this ministry and lead others in doing the same. When you have a diverse congregation, you must have diverse leadership.
Let's face it, God's family encompasses a diverse tapestry of people. In Matthew 12:50, Jesus affirmed, 'For whoever shall do the will of My Father who is in heaven, the same is My brother, sister, and mother.' Jesus welcomes all who are willing to follow His Father's will, teaching them the ways of His kingdom. Heaven operates in a specific manner, and we can only comprehend this by reading, hearing, and understanding the words of heaven—God's Word.
Our ministry's mission is to help people remove the hindrances in their daily lives that are inconsistent with heaven's ways. These hindrances often manifest as worldly words, attitudes, thoughts, and feelings. We aim to replace these with the words, attitudes, thoughts, and feelings of heaven. As Hebrews 12:1b, 2a tells us, 'Let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.'
Faith is the foundation of this ministry. In Mark 9:23, Jesus declared, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.' Likewise, Romans 10:17 states, 'Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.' Thus, God's power is unleashed through faith, through our belief in the Word of God. It is through this faith that the Holy Spirit performs the works described in God's Word.
I humbly refuse to take any credit for the success of this ministry. It has been a divine endeavor from the very beginning. Just as the Christian Center grows spiritually, we are expanding physically. Currently, our ministry extends to churches in Lawton, Duncan, and Chickasha, complemented by our radio station that serves Southwest Oklahoma. Additionally, our website and app provide access for anyone worldwide to listen or watch our services.
